The Sweetwater Kiwanis Club jointly sponsored the 43rd annual Christmas Parade in Sweetwater on Friday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. The parade route was from Mayes Avenue then ended at Sweetwater High School. Thanks to all the Kiwanis volunteers that made it happen and our sponsors who have been faithful supporters of Kiwanis. Special thanks to Charlie Ridenour, Harris Lovingood who have consistently led parade efforts, engaged sponsors, and rustled up other Kiwanians to put this on. Thanks also to Jay Riordan who reached out to sponsors for support.
The Key Club put together a float with the coordination of Dr Prater and the Builder’s Club students. Thanks to Tim Allen for providing the truck, trailer and driving the float.
