The Kiwanis Annual Dove Hunt was conducted on Labor Day, Sept 1st, 2025. We had a great turnout and was able to raise $4,050 for kids within our community.
Thanks to all the Kiwanians who helped put on the event, and hunters who participated. We extend a special thankyou to Dennis Holt of Holt Farms for generously allowing Kiwanis to use his property for this event.

The verbiage below is a similar to the release form hunters will be required to sign at the event:
“The agreement to indemnify, release and hold harmless the Sweetwater Kiwanis Club, Inc., its officers and members, the Kentucky-Tennessee District of Kiwanis International and Kiwanis International and the landowners (Holt’s), for my participation in the annual dove hunt. I voluntarily and knowingly execute this release with the express intention of effecting the extinguishment of obligations as designated in this release. It is the intent to bind myself, my spouse, heirs, legal representatives and estate and release and discharge the various Kiwanis organizations and the landowners listed above from all claims, demands, actions, judgments and executions I have or will have arising out of the dove hunt. I acknowledge that a dove hunt involves firearms and is an inherently dangerous sport and am signing this release accordingly. Consideration for this release/hold harmless is the right to participate in the dove hunt. I agree to hold the above Kiwanis Organizations and the landowners harmless for any and all liability and expense, including attorney’s fees. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge I have read the above, understand and accept the terms set out.NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED AT THE HUNT.”
